MEN ON A MISSION
My name is Barry Branham. I'm the current Grand Knight of our council, which has served St Aloysius and the surrounding Hickory community for over 50 years.
The Knights provides men and their families with volunteer service opportunities to the Catholic Church and their local community, PLUS the many benefits associated with the Knight's top-ranked life insurance program. We are the world's largest Catholic family fraternal service organization with over 2 million members.
We meet the second Wed. of each month at 7PM in the Knights Activity Center (located on St. Al's campus facing 9th Ave.) to plan our service projects and fraternal programs. Our meetings start with business and end with social time.

I heard a story about a tourist traveling through Europe when he paid a visit to a wise and holy rabbi. The tourist was very surprised to see that the man lived in a single room that contained only books, a table and a chair. The Tourist inquired, "Rabbi, where is your furniture?" "Where's yours?" the rabbi responded. The tourist said, "My furniture? I 'm only passing through here."
The rabbi responded "So am I." And so are we!
